Yvette Halpin is a unique and gifted teacher, for children and parents alike. Her workshops have given us concrete and effective tools for parenting our daughters. Even more importantly, they helped to remind us of the love that lies at the core of parenting, and that our role is to raise these little beings to be whole, happy individuals. Highly recommended!

I am thrilled with the experience of Padovan therapy for my son (and myself). After trying many different healing modalities and conventional medicine for some of my child's challenges, I can safely say that this is something that we are willing to invest in and we are sticking with. Some positive changes that have come are obvious and other's subtle. I like the way it works on many aspects of health, making the results have depth and longevity. Yvette's care, patience, commitment and wisdom make this journey all the more doable (and enjoyable) for us. We are grateful.

I enjoyed Yvette's workshop series immensely. Yvette imparts not only her knowledge and understanding of childhood development but empowers you to draw conclusions about your own parenting approach. She is such a lovely, warm individual that just spending a few hours a month in her presence leaves a lasting impression: it has an impact on how you raise your children and how you go through life as a parent and in general. I also enjoyed meeting other parents and having the chance to share and learn together. I wish I could carry on - just for the monthly opportunity to express, assess and evaluate in a 'secure' space. I would have no hesitation in recommending the workshops to anyone and everyone.

As a special needs teacher and parent of two young children, I am  ecstatic about Yvette Halpin's remedial work. Through extensive testing, Yvette determined that my six-year-old daughter's vestibular system wasn't maturing naturally.
Until we took her to Yvette, she seemed behind other children her age but it was impossible to pinpoint what was lagging. Her father and I had tried everything to help her along: we respected rhythms, spent most of our time outside, followed Simplicity Parenting methods and yet, our daughter didn't seem to be the master of her own body. Was it the difficult childbirth or maybe a vaccine? I'm certain I thought of every explanation and often let guilt take me for a ride. I even wondered if she would become one of my many students who were unable to process, decode, and retain information. Our search for answers led us to Yvette's innovative remedial work, which we've followed methodically to establish the series of connections in the brain that are required for higher learning. It is a large investment of time but I can say with certainty that in six months our daughter's progress has been considerable.  Our daughter was anti-social, extremely sensitive to sound and change, choleric, and never seemed perfectly comfortable. Once we started the exercises, the inexplicable tantrums ceased, she would speak with strangers, and was so much calmer then she had ever been. She would flow easily between activities and didn't panic when things were unfamiliar. She was much more courageous and curious. Then her language changed and she could say a few sentences without stopping or hesitating. She didn't need us to repeat so much and she  suddenly became much more coordinated.
Also, she stopped fidgeting and her attention span lengthened. Most importantly for me, I felt that I was able to bond with her - something that had always been a little off.  Even though I had been at home with her for five years, I always felt that I couldn't connect with her - she didn't seem fully present as she was, we now realize, struggling to understand her environment and what she was perceiving as reality. Her shift in perception was amazing and has brought us closer. It has also helped her to start locating her body in space and to manoeuvre it more easily. Of course, we still have much work to do, but to see the beginnings of the reversal of an imminent learning disability is very encouraging.
We are very grateful for Yvette's kind approach, vast knowledge of child development and neurological remediation. Her experience in the Steiner pedagogy certainly shines through in her work and serves as an anchor for struggling children. It is, I am certain, the future of education.

We feel so fortunate to have had our children in Yvette's care over the last 3 years. Over this time, we have consulted with her on numerous occasions about gentle approaches for handling different situations with our young children. Overall, Yvette has a strong, gentle presence with all children and approaches every interaction with compassion and understanding. Being witness to this has been so beneficial for us as we develop our own parenting practices. We appreciate Yvette's wealth of information from a scientific, developmental standpoint, and also her very concrete examples of what to say or how to guide our children in various situations. One of our children, who was in an orphanage at a young age, has also been working with Yvette for developmental support. Yvette has been guiding us with home exercises for him, and we see him responding well to this type of treatment. Thanks!

Heureux qui croise le chemin d'Yvette!
J'ai eu la chance de baigner dans la sagesse d'Yvette de quatre façons: pour l'avoir vu être mère et faire l'école à la maison à ses deux enfants; par ma présence à ses ateliers; par la présence de ma fille à son jardin d'enfant pendant deux ans et par la relation thérapeutique d'Yvette avec mon fils, alors âgé de 9 ans.
Qu'elle soit animatrice, conférencière, éducatrice ou thérapeute, elle est toujours motivée par le désir profond - sa vocation - d'apporter aux enfants ce dont ils ont besoin en tant qu'activités et environnement pour s'épanouir globalement et s'incarner sur terre de la façon la plus harmonieuse et complète possible. Sa vaste connaissance de la petite enfance, son professionnalisme et sa passion ne laissent personne indifférent!
Pour la mère que je suis, avoir été inspirée par l'énergie d'Yvette a été un trésor. Ma fille garde les plus beaux souvenirs de ses deux années chez Yvette.
Quant à mon fils, de tous les intervenants qu'il a vu, il a préféré de loin son travail avec Yvette et nous sentons, comme parents, que c'est elle qui prenait le plus à coeur son développement.

Rare sont les personnes avec une vision aussi claire qui réussissent à la mettre en pratique de façon aussi constante et... belle.
