For Teachers and Caregivers
Do you recognize the symptoms of learning and behavioral challenges but struggle to identify the why (cause) or how to help your student ?
THE WHY? In this 2 hrs workshop I introduce primitive reflexes and offer a checklist of what you can observe in your student if these reflexes are still present. This checklist is a tool that provides clues to underlying immaturities in the functioning of the nervous system, due to retained primitive reflexes, that have been documented as causes of learning and behavioral challenges.
THE HOW YOU CAN HELP ? 10 to 15 minutes of daily neurodevelopmental movements to help mature the nervous system has been shown to improve learning and behavior in whole classrooms. In this half day workshop i can show teachers how to implement this with their students from preschool to grade 6.
